An afternoon funny...

Today, Walter Olson over at the Cato @ Liberty, blogged about the moronic warning label one publisher chose to attach to copies of the Constitution:

© Wilder Publications 2008

This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work.

Luckily, not all publishers are so silly.  Mr. Olsen is "...happy to report that the Cato Institute’s excellent pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution...lets readers take the Constitution straight up", a claim that had me laughing out loud, as my Cato Institute pocket copy of the U.S. is anything but straight up!

I thought about returning it, but my upside-down Constitution has proven to be quite the conversation piece.
